'Space Walk'


This is an acrylic painting depicting America's first walk in space by undertaken by Ed White during the Gemini IV mission on the 3rd of 1965. Ed White tragically died along with astronauts "Gus" Grissom and Roger Chaffee during pre-launch testing for the first manned Apollo mission at Cape Canaveral.

This painting was exhibited at the Guild of Aviation Artists Annual Exhibition held at the Mall Galleries, London, in July 2004.
